IHG adds Hotel Brooklyn sites in Manchester and Leicester

Kew Green Hotels, one of the leading owners and operators of mid-range hotels in the UK, has bought the small Hotel Brooklyn chain.
It comprises just two hotels – Hotel Brooklyn Leicester and Hotel Brooklyn Manchester.
Kew Green has signed a franchise deal with IHG to rebrand the two hotels as voco.

As the website says:
Brooklyn is New York’s hippest neighbourhood – great vibe, great lifestyle, with a diverse and vibrant food and music scene. And our hotels are a slice of that life. So if you can make it anywhere – why not make it here.
It isn’t clear if the Hotel Brooklyn name will remain as a sub-brand (ie voco Hotel Brooklyn Leicester) or if the whole ‘Brooklyn style’ concept will be binned, along with the American-themed interiors.
The hotels will switch to IHG during 2024.
