Save 15% on reward nights at new IHG hotels

IHG One Rewards is continuing with its promotion of a 15% discount on redemptions at selected new hotels.

The list has just been extended to the end of June so I thought we’d take another look.

IHG One Rewards is revenue based so it is hard to compare the ‘reduced’ redemption costs to the ‘usual’ price. However, I know from previous experience that the deals are genuine. I rebooked a stay for my wife when this offer first launched and saved exactly 15% on what I originally paid.

The list of participating hotels is here. I have listed the ones in Europe below.

From a UK perspective, voco London Marylebone is perhaps the most relevant. Our story on voco London Marylebone is here.

Kimpton Los Monteros Marbella (website here, article here) is also of interest, and is reduced until 30th June.

voco Zeal Exeter Science Park (website here, article here) is also reduced.

Note that you do not see the old price crossed out and a new reduced price shown next to it. The price you see is simply 15% lower than it would otherwise be, and the ‘pence per point’ ratio should look better than competing properties.

Stay by 30th April:

Stay by 31st May:

Stay by 30th June:

Check the website here for participating hotels outside Europe.

Remember that ‘new hotel’ doesn’t necessarily mean ‘new build’ with the expected bells and whistles. Some hotels above – especially the low budget Garner ones – have switched brands to join IHG, which means you won’t necessarily get a shiny fresh property.

Full details are on this page of the IHG website.

Voco Exeter link not working in either place.

    • John says:

Another ihg link not working. I give up with them and their customer service is shite. Been getting different responses from different people.re the paypal offer. Have now made a complaint given no one seems to know what they are doing. I’m giving ihg a miss from now on. Hotels are overpriced anyway compared to similar standard hotels in same locations.

      • Rob says:

The PayPal offer was never promoted or advertised. Someone found the landing page – clearly in testing only – and it seemed to work. This stuff happens.

        • John says:

What do you mean ‘in testing only’. Maybe these things happen but doesn’t mean their customer service team cannot provide the same explanation as to whether the offer still works or not. There is no excuse for bad customer service pr a company with a customer service team who dont seem to know there arse from their elbow!

          • Rob says:

I’m not sure how the customer service team is meant to know about an offer which was accidentally set live by a totally different part of the business though ….

You should really be annoyed with us, because we wrote the article then left it 5 days before running it and failed to double check it was still working before pressing Publish ….

    • Rob says:

      Sorry, will take a look.

  • Matarredonda says:

Surprised at tge number of Garner bran Hotels in Germany.
Thi k only one or two so far in the UK having stayed not long ago at the one near Preston which I found decen5 value for what I paid.

    • Peggerz says:

I noted the other day that there is a Garner coming to Edinburgh, opposite Haymarket railway station. Won’t be open for a wee while I don’t think.

    • BA Flyer IHG Stayer says:

They make up a large number of the Berlin IHG hotels cluttering up the map and list!

But one thing I am considering is using them to do a mini matress run should it be needed later in the year as I usually stay in a non IHG hotel as they can do rooms from £ 60 – £ 70 a night
