Hilton’s ‘Stay Longer & Save’ offer where Hilton Honors members can save up to 20% when they book a stay for 3 nights or longer is currently live. Non-members save 15%.

The offer is available at participating Hilton hotels across the Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Here are the key offer terms to note:

  • You must stay at least three nights
  • You must book at least seven nights in advance
  • Full prepayment is required and rooms are not refundable

Some stay longer inspiration ….

If you are considering an extended city break in London, you may be interested in trying The Gantry, in Stratford, East London, which is part of Hilton’s Curio collection.

Rhys reviewed the hotel recently and whilst The Gantry is a little bit away from the centre of London, it is just a 20 minute direct tube ride from the West End. Rhys found the rooms a good size, and the hotel a good addition to an up-and-coming area with plenty to do on the doorstep.

If you are looking for somewhere interesting to stay with a large family or group of friends, Motto Rotterdam could be worth a look. It is the first of Hilton’s new Motto concept to open in Europe and offers something quite different to the usual city-centre hotel.

Motto has the unique feature of being able to book up to nine or ten interconnecting rooms of different types, making it convenient for groups and families. Rhys stayed earlier in the year and found it a fun and useful concept.

The Waldorf Astoria Berlin is one of the best luxury hotels in Berlin and Rhys was particularly impressed by the food.

It has a good location in the City West district of Berlin, close to the Kurfürstendamm shopping district and the Berlin Zoo. The hotel is also home to the only Guerlain spa in Germany.

In addition to some hotels we’ve already reviewed, there are a couple more hotels that have piqued our interest.

The first is the Boeira Garden Hotel Porto Gaia, Curio Collection by Hilton.

Nestled just outside Porto, Portugal, the Boeira Garden Hotel Porto Gaia has stunning garden surroundings, and is just a 15 minute walk to the Port wine cellars.

Situated on the stunning southern coast of Sardinia overlooking Chia Bay, the Conrad Chia Laguna offers views of both the surrounding landscapes and the Mediterranean Sea.

With access to beautiful beaches, upscale amenities, and a range of activities, the Conrad Chia Laguna is an ideal location for a luxurious break to Sardinia.

Curio Collection by Hilton’s Saski Hotel Krakow is a historic and upscale hotel in the heart of Krakow, Poland.

Housed within a restored 19th-century building, it blends contemporary comforts with historical elements and is close to key attractions such as the Main Market Square and Royal Wawel Castle.

Conclusion

The Hilton ‘Stay Longer and Save’ offer is an attractive proposition for anyone looking for a longer stay. With Hilton expanding its offering of interesting concepts like Motto and adding plenty of more unique properties to the Curio Collection, there is plenty of choice within the offer.

You will save 20% off when you book a stay of three nights or more in selected EMEA Hilton properties. The discount is lower (15%) if you are not a Hilton Honors member.

You can see the offer page on Hilton’s website here.

Over the next few days we’ll be reviewing a couple of Hilton properties in Europe which are taking part in this offer.

Off to the WA Berlin next month after reading review on here. Funnily enough been looking at the Saski hotel and Boeria in Porto for a while now, but considering the newly (been put back again until next year) Legacy hotel in cascais. It’s now open from May next year. I’m about to book for end of May, but never stayed at a hotel within two weeks of opening.

Has anyone else stayed at a recently opened hotel and then regretted it?

    • Ant M says:

I stayed at the Saski in Krokow a a few months ago and was definitely not disappointed – its a lovely hotel and a great central location.
I’m always wary of brand new hotels – firstly the opening dates often slip, but also the staff are all still learning for the first few weeks

      • meta says:

I stayed in the old Saski in the late 1990s. I guess I need to go again now.

    • Gordon says:

I’m off to Berlin in November for the Christmas markets!

I stayed at Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana Dominican Republic in Q2 2020 and it had opened at the end of Q4 2019.(Brand new build, total cost approximately $215M)
Even thought it was eerily quiet (about 5% occupancy) because of covid (We were the only Europeans there, amongst a few Americans).

I also stayed at Hyatt ziva Riviera Cancun in Dec 2021, it had opened in Sept 2021.(Heavy rebrand renovation, formerly Secrets Silversands, riviera Maya)
Impressed with the food I returned again in June this year!

Apart from the inevitable teething problems with any new property, I did not regret anything, if you can overlook these you should be happy with your stay.

  • John says:

I’ve booked a hotel that was due to open but after travelling past the building site on an earlier date I realised there was no way they were going to open on time, yet the hotel said nothing until a week before my booking. If they already pushed the date back once I would definitely have an alternative booking in place

  • Kuestrian says:

“it is just a 20 minute direct tube ride from the West End”

and just over half that on the Elizabeth line, of course!

  • Save East Coast Rewards says:

This article gives the impression this promotion has just gone live. Is that the case? I’ve seen stay longer and save been offered many times over the years so is it a permanent rate or one that just pops up now and again?

    • Andy says:

The promo has been around for ages. The article is sponsored by Hilton……

      • @thirdpassport says:

Ah, that explains why the hotel booking service is not mentioned 😉

  • meta says:

Hope they sorted out the service issues at Boeira and that they treat elite members better.

Beware also that Boeira is quite far from all the main sights. It’s a 15-min walk downhill to the Gaia riverfront and a bit longer climb back. Bolt was 2-3 euros. The surrounding area is a bit boring. It’s a nice place to relax by the pool though.

    • His Holyness says:

I’d pick the Hilton Gaia over the Curio. For location the two Tapestry would be better, and the Arts has a small pool.

      • @thirdpassport says:

Loved the spa in the Hilton Gaia. It was cold when I went to Porto for the weekend and it was lovely to spend a couple of hours in the toasty warmth of the pool area

  • mark says:

FYI the hyperlink to the WA in Berlin is actually the link for the Porto Curio

  • L Allen says:

The link to Conrad Chia Laguna doesn’t work (in the email it throws an error, on this page it does nothing)

  • Karen Worman says:

When you are quoting hotels in London please could you include whether they are liable to the ULEZ charge. This would make it do much easier for people to understand and budget for.
Thanks for all the interesting and i formative content that you carry.

    • Rob says:

Given the size of the new ULEZ zone, they will be included. There are many towns outside London included eg Uxbridge.

    • Gordon says:

Given the cost of hotel stays in London. I’m I would have thought a £12.50 ULEZ charge in and out would have factored low on the list of priorities! I would much prefer to hear about the property and food offerings it has….
