Priority Pass adds a spa experience at Heathrow Terminal 5

Links on Head for Points may support the site by paying a commission.  See here for all partner links.

The first Priority Pass ‘spa experience’ at Heathrow has appeared – and it’s in the British Airways terminal, Terminal 5.

The snag is that you CANNOT access this with a Priority Pass issued by American Express.

You CAN access it with a Priority Pass issued by any other financial institution, or one you have bought directly. LoungeKey, issued with HSBC World Elite credit cards, is also OK.

Be Relax Spa Heathrow Airport Priority Pass

What can you get?

The experience is at the Be Relax Spa. There are two of these – one by Gate A8 in the main Terminal 5 (this is a pop-up with no privacy) and one by Gate B35 in the first satellite, pictured above.

Swipe your non-Amex Priority Pass or LoungeKey card and you will receive your choice of:

  • Be Back 15-minute Massage
  • Be Back 30-minute Massage
  • Polish Change plus Hand Massage
  • Be Feet on lounger 10-minute

The spa is open from 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 7pm Friday to Sunday. You cannot pre-book treatments.

You can find out more on the Priority Pass website here.

PS. Remember that there is also a restaurant option for non-Amex issued Priority Pass and LoungeKey cards in Terminal 5 now. See this HfP article.

It would be evil to say I just picked up a ticket. Keep refreshing

Or am I just eventbrite keeping you on my site all day? It doesn’t say sold out yet

    • Alex Sm says:

No way! I tried multiple times afterwards, as Rhys recommended, it said few tix left but computer said NO!

      • Will says:

No way – would be correct. This eventbrite site is evil. The waiting list is a joke. Hfp should give a (say) 2 minute window to apply with photo id to prevent dupes and then draw the winners in an actual auction not open to programmers or hackers. Don’t trust ANY ticket sites except twickets.

      • Gordon says:

Re your comment on page 1, I thought you were disinterested and had a partners birthday function to attend, So had better things to do? You moan about how difficult it is to obtain tickets, It is even more so now with people applying that do not even want to attend?

        • Will says:

Not sure what you refer to, perhaps another user with same name or perhaps not directed at me

          • Gordon says:

It shows as a reply to Alex Sm after your reply? So not intended for yourself….

          • PeteM says:

Alex Sm is indeed an interesting individual…

          • Alex Sm says:

@Pete M I surely am! I’m like marmite – some say they would want me as a dinner buddy, others say I am a party pooper. I don’t mind being either, the key thing is just not to be ordinary and dull

        • Alex Sm says:

Yes, the comments threads are not perfect here either 😉 but I got your comment! I fell prey to the overall madness in the end and OH said he won’t mind attending HfP drinks before the BD dinner which we could push to a later slot

  • idrive says:

i still think that once you are allocated a ticket, the system should keep it for you, if there is a system error, why are we paying for it? i got a chance twice today and yday and the system kicked me out in both occasions.

    • Rhys says:

This is how it was worked in previous years – not entirely sure why it didn’t this time round. Sorry.

  • Princess says:

I’m still here refreshing EB page…should we keep going until it say sold out?

  • Jill Kinkell says:

Didn’t waste time trying to get a ticket. Wifi in the Highlands not the greatest. then a flight (RFS) if available! Possible o/n stay with family. Partying is never point to happen 🍇

  • Will says:

How about selling raffle tickets? Online. You would make money for yourselves or for charity. £12.50×500 is less than the top prize value so every Lucky ticket holder has an expected profit in purely mathematical terms

  • Ad says:

Ridiculous way to do it. Had a ticket in my basket four separate times and each time it did not complete. Need to find a better way of doing this.

  • Alan says:

I must admit I got to the party at 12:03, did I expect to get a ticket at that point? No. Did I get the opportunity to add a ticket to my basket? Yes

As a long time reader of the site as I am sure many people are its frustrating not to get a fair chance of getting a ticket. Why not fair? Well to have to be at your computer at exactly 12 to try and beat either the bots refreshing the page with a headless browser (of which I can do but choose not to as I don’t believe its right) to get a ticket or just being lucky to get in at the right time and be actually able to finish the transaction just doesn’t seem to the best approach.

Maybe a ballot where people sign up next time

Saying that all that did get a ticket, have a fun night! It’s incredible generous for HfP to put on such an event, just a shame I didn’t manage to bag a ticket.

  • Will says:

Still offering waitlist (collecting our email addresses for resale to hackers) at 12.46 which is outrageous

    • Rhys says:

Why? It’s a waitlist. If you don’t want to be on it don’t join it!

Last year the waitlist came in VERY useful due to the strikes. We had to change dates which obviously meant lots of people couldn’t come any more – waitlist was perfect for re-allocating those tickets.

      • Will says:

Cos there’s probably >1000 on the waitlist

        • Will says:

I take your point but it should be clear that this is not just for failed
Payments and gives the impression that a ticket is still available

    • Skywalker says:

Do people really still use their personal/business email addresses for social sites?
