Accor launches a new two-way airline partnership with ITA

Accor has announced another two-way points transfer partnership with an airline.
I’m not going to make a big deal of it because I doubt many HfP readers have a points balance with Italian airline ITA – although many of us have elite status with them following their BA status matches last year!
Starting immediately, you can move Accor Live Limitless points and ITA Airways miles in either direction:

- 4,000 Accor Live Limitless points = 5,000 ITA VOLARE points
- 4,000 VOLARE points = 1,000 Accor Live Limitless points
As 1,000 Accor Live Limitless points are worth €20 off a future hotel booking, this is clearly a bad deal for most people.
It only makes sense if you happen to have 4,000 orphaned VOLARE points, which won’t get you anything in the way of free SkyTeam flights but are worth €20 over at Accor.
