To encourage early booking, these extra discounts are only available until 6th September.

Take a look at their home page here.

  • Dubai – three nights at the 5* Hyatt Regency Dubai from £479pp, travelling on selected dates in June 2023.
  • Algarve – seven nights at the brand new 5* W Algarve from £629pp, travelling on selected dates in March 2023

Premium flight and hotel deals include:

  • Prague – Club Europe flights and three nights at the 4* Hotel Duo from £299pp, travelling on selected dates in January 2023

You will receive DOUBLE British Airways Executive Club tier points too

One of the most attractive promotions currently running from any travel company is the British Airways Holidays ‘double tier points’ offer.

(If you are have previously made use of this offer, it now appears that the double tier points are finally starting to land in accounts!)

If you book a ‘flight and hotel’ or ‘flight and car’ package for 5+ nights via BA Holidays, for travel completed by 30th September 2023, you will receive double tier points on your flights.

The eagle-eyed among you may have just done a double take at that September 2023 date. When we wrote about the double tier points offer earlier this week, you had to travel by 31st October 2022 to benefit. However, the double tier points offer has now been extended by 11 months.

This could be hugely beneficial to you. For example, until the end of 2022, you only need 450 Executive Club tier points for Silver status which gets you British Airways lounge access and free seat selection. By pushing out the offer from 30th October 2022, you now have an extra two months of earning double tier points before the thresholds go back to normal on 1st January 2023.

You could even get Silver status in one trip. For example, booking Manchester to Corfu in Club Europe, you would get (40 + 80 + 80 + 40) x 2 = 480 tier points. You get a holiday and up to 25 months of BA lounge access and free seat selection, depending on how you time it.

There are two things to note about the double tier points offer:

  • you must book flights which carry a British Airways flight number – codeshare flights with, say, Qatar Airways are acceptable but only if your booking shows a BAXXXX flight number
  • whilst your booking must contain at least five nights of hotel or car rental, your overall stay can be longer

Full details of the ‘double tier points’ offer can be found on British Airways Holidays here.

Don’t forget the other benefits of booking with British Airways Holidays

As well as saving money versus buying your flights and hotel separately, there are some other attractive benefits of booking with British Airways Holidays which you may have forgotten about:

  • earn double Avios (3 per £1 spent) from Amex when you pay with a British Airways American Express Premium Plus card
  • earn 1 Avios per £1 spent at BA Holidays – this is on top of the Avios you earn on your flights plus the Avios you will earn if you pay with a BA American Express card
  • you can secure your trip with a small deposit now and pay the balance nearer the date of travel

The British Airways sale is available on bookings made before 20th September 2022 – but you need to book by 6th September to get the additional savings. It is valid for travel until 31st August 2023.

i was thinking those prices in the examples were quite cheap, then I realised they were per night, per person! I must be moving in different circles to you guys

    • Jack says:

I think you must be confused. They’re not per night – Tenerife is under 1400 for a week, for a couple. So, 669 per person. 🤔

    • HBommie says:

I understand where you’ve mixed it up, but the price on the date is for the arrival for however long your stay. It changes depending on the arrival date.

    • david says:

Some people here are definitely in different circles. I go with my wife and son and itll be like £600 to Greece with Airbnb accommodation and LCC for 10 days. Definitely non resorts.

    • Rhys says:

It’s not per night, it’s per stay

  • Rhonal says:

Has anyone receive the 3000 avios from the mastercard pre-paid card?

  • Nevine Hunt says:

I understand that for double Tier points holiday needs to be completed by end Sept 2023 but it is not clearif the holiday needs to be booked by a certain date, anyone know?

    • Rhys says:

You’ll need to book a package holiday for a least 5 nights for travel before 30 September 2023 according to the BA hols website

      • The Original Nick. says:

Are you sure it’s not 30th October for the outbound flight to be taken by?

      • Nevine Hunt says:

Thank you Rhys but is there a deadline for booking the trip?

        • Rhys says:

The old version had no booking deadline so I am guessing that this will roll over, and BA will use it as a lever next year to help leisure travellers retain status.

      • Lady London says:

Surely travel before means outbound date.
… this would be standard ‘holiday company’ meaning. If @RussellH is around, he might be able to confirm

    • Rob says:

The old version had no booking deadline so I am guessing that this will roll over, and BA will use it as a lever next year to help leisure travellers retain status.

  • Graham Walsh says:

Anyone know of resorts in Europe for kids 11 & 10 ideally with a water park? BA can’t filter with amenities like that.

    • Richie says:

Port aventura / Ferrari World Salou. Siam Park Tenerife.

      • Jen T says:

No hotel/resort on site in Tenerife with Siam Park but easy to get to by taxi/Uber/park bus from the rest of the island. Definitely recommend and great for adults too.

        • Jack says:

Siam Park was a blast when we went in December! Highly recommend

        • Craig says:

Costa Adeje is close and has some decent hotels plus the added attraction of NOT being Los Cristianos or Playa! Sheraton in Adeje is close to Siam but closed in August for a refurb and still isn’t seemingly reopened / available to book next few months…

          • SEJ says:

I believe the Sheraton has been sold by Marriott, having spoken to staff when I stayed back in April

  • JerrySignfield says:

Not sure why anyone would visit Corfu in April/May, its cold, I am surprised it even opens in April, prices for June are decent though

    • Bazdog says:

We were there in April/May this year and it was about 25/26 degrees for most of it

  • Arcadio says:

For those that already booked some flights next year – is it worth doing/possible to convert existing booking into BA holidays offer

  • RJ says:

Is anyone getting this to work through BA holidays? For bookings over £5k it still only seems to take off £100, I’ve checked the rule table and am compliant, messed with dates and value to push it into another band (£10k) and still only £100 off. This is for flight+car hire for 2 weeks

    • Julia Ayala Paviour says:

£100 is the maximum discount for Fligh+Car. The £300 discount is on Flight+Hotel.

  • Michael says:

Hi, I had an avios booking next week which I just cancelled. Surprising to me, I will get my avios + £17.50 back without any charge. Is this now the normal policy? Is BA planning to charge up to £35 for avios cancellation in the future?
