Melia takes another 10% off January hotel sale bookings
Links on Head for Points may support the site by paying a commission. See here for all partner links.
Many HfP readers will have Gold status in MeliaRewards via their American Express Platinum card.
If you fancied maximising this by booking a Melia hotel for a future trip, Melia is offering an additional 10% discount in its Europe sale.
The sale ends on 31st January. All rooms come with free cancellation.

To get the extra 10% discount, you need to use the code JANUARYSALE whilst booking.
Remember that, as well as various resort properties in Spain, Melia also has properties in major cities across Europe.
Key properties include Gran Meliá Palacio de los Duques in Madrid, reviewed here, ME London, pictured above and Gran Melia in Rome, reviewed here by a HfP competition winner. It is also opening INNSiDE Newcastle once restrictions lift.
Full details of the extra 10% sale discount are on this page of the Melia website.

Who won Hilton Honors Gold status?
Thank you to everyone who entered our competition to win Hilton Honors Gold status on Wednesday.
I particularly want to thank the seven readers who got in touch during the day and also offered to give away their own Hilton Honors Gold gift code. This meant that we could give away EIGHT prizes of Hilton Honors Gold status.
The eight winners were:
- Mark T
- Nick G
- Cynthia M
- Sam B
- Derrick McK
- Andrew McC
- Nishant P
- David C
Fingers crossed that we get hotels open again soon and our winners can enjoy their free breakfasts!
PS. Apologies for not publishing the winners of our Jones Bootmaker competitions yet, which ran just before Christmas. We had difficulties contacting one of the winners. We gave the person far more leeway than was allowed in the rules to come forward, but we have finally given up and drawn another winner for one of the prizes. We will publish the full list soon.
