Hyatt has announced that a second Hyatt Place hotel at Heathrow to complement the existing property in Hayes, will open in 2017.

This hotel will actually be close to the airport ….

The company is converting the little known Heathrow Hotel Bath Road, pictured above, into a 350 room Hyatt Place property.

This was previously the Arora International Hotel Heathrow Airport.  It seems that the existing hotel will remain open whilst the work is undertaken.

Is there a list of LoungeKey accessible lounges that does not require logging into a HSBC credit card account?

Question re Lounge Club Card. Will this remain active when I canx my Amex Gold or is it better to use 2 free visits before canx Amex Gold. Cheers.

    • Matt says:

Your lounge club card is cancelled as soon as you cancel your amex gold. Matt (a different one!)

Awww, I stayed at the Arora for £3 two years ago before an early flight out on Easter Sunday! I hope they do well in their new Hyatt guise.

  • Rob says:

We’ve not been invited down. We are getting invited to the Cathay T3 lounge opening apparently but as we will be on airside passes we cannot wander off elsewhere unfortunately. No T3 in our diaries at present.

  • WEIJing says:

I’ve been there. Clean and Tidy, but much smaller than the No. 1 lounge next door, less choices of food and drink.
