UPDATE – APRIL 2025:  This article is now out of date, but don’t worry.  We produce a monthly summary of the top hotel bonus point offers – please click HERE or use the ‘Hotel Offers’ menu above.

The late Summer / early Autumn promotion from Hilton HHonors will run from 1st August to 31st October.  It is another outing for ‘Triple Your Trip‘ which regular readers may remember from Autumn 2013.

Once registered, you will receive double Hilton HHonors points per Monday to Thursday night you stay, and triple points for every Friday to Sunday night. In the Middle East, the weekend is treated as Thursday – Saturday.

There is no limit to the number of bonus points you can earn.

There is a list of non-participating hotels which in theory will be here on the Hilton website – although, at the time of writing, the list has not been loaded.  Sometimes these lists can be very long so do not make any bookings on the strength of this offer until you have seen it.

I was caught out myself a few years ago when I made a Hilton booking purely to qualify for a promo, only to find it was the only hotel in the whole of the UK not to be taking part.

Hilton points are not as valuable as they used to be following the 2013 devaluation.  That said, you would be foolish not to register for this promotion if you have any Hilton stays in the pipeline.

Stays must be between 1 August and 31 October.  Registration is required here.

How to earn Hilton Honors points and status from UK credit cards

How to earn Hilton Honors points and status from UK credit cards (April 2025)

There are various ways of earning Hilton Honors points from UK credit and debit cards.  Many cards also have generous sign-up bonuses.

There are two dedicated Hilton Honors debit cards. These are especially attractive when spending abroad due to the 0% or 0.5% FX fee, depending on card.

You also receive FREE Hilton Honors status for as long as you hold the debit cards – Gold status with the Plus card and Silver status with the basic card. This is a great reason to apply even if you rarely use it.

We reviewed the Hilton Honors Plus Debit Card here and the Hilton Honors Debit Card here.

You can apply for either card here.

We reviewed American Express Platinum in detail here and you can apply here.

I have 17 nights booked in September for a Diamond challenge redeeming points at Hampton Corby / Kettering, I hope this is included!

    • Rob says:

But it won’t help you much! What you needed – and what is not currently running – is Hilton’s other favourite promo which offers a flat 1,000 points per weekday and 2,000 points per weekend night. That DOES combine with a reward stay and would cut over 20% from the points cost of Corby!

      • Craig says:

Yes, that would have been excellent indeed. Currently the booking sets me back 69,700 which is probably a fare price for a Diamond card. I”m interested to see if it makes any difference in terms of upgrades once I achieve Diamond. I’ve also opted for the My Way 500 points a day at the Hampton Corby, it’s not like I intend to stay there. Wondering if I will get 34 drinks vouchers?

        • Rob says:

Yes you will, based on the guy who did this last year.

Do check there are no rules on long stays. Some chains have funny rules for stays over 28 days and do not give full credit.

      • Craig says:

Yes, that’s a good pint, it should be OK, as it’s only 17 stays, but good point. I can report back if I’m successful.
