Club Carlson launches a 50% discount reward sale at, ahem, seven European hotels

If you picked up a load of Club Carlson points during their generous Summer promotion, you may be interesting in spending a few in a new (very limited) 50% off sale.

You need to enter the code 50REDEEM when booking to get the cheaper rate to come up, and you must be logged in.

There is a very wide window here, with booking accepted up to 30 March 2013 for stays up to 31 March 2013.

The best deal here is probably for the Nice property.  It comes down from 50,000 points per night to just 25,000 points. 

Remember that you can transfer American Express Membership Rewards points to Club Carlson at a 1:3 rate so that night in Nice requires just 8,334 Amex points.  Admittedly the hotel is cheap out of season anyway, but you will get well over 1p of value per Amex point.
